Trees, Water & People (TWP) thanks Cloud 9 Adventures, Positive Legacy, and Matt Butler & the Everyone Orchestra for directly supporting TWP’s reforestation and stove work in Central America through an innovative travel offset program offered on JamCruise, a yearly music festival put on by Cloud 9 and MSC Cruises.

During the cruise, passengers are given the opportunity to offset the impact of their vacation by participating in Cloud 9’s extensive Greening programs, which include recycling and waste diversion throughout the ship, social projects at the chosen ports of call, and offsetting of both the ship’s emissions and emissions generated during flights to Ft. Lauderdale from points across the country and abroad.  Participating passengers are treated to an exclusive all-star performance by Matt Butler and the Everyone Orchestra, which has raised over $100,000 for charitable causes over the past 10 years.  Proceeds from offsetting donations go directly toward supporting TWP’s environmental and community development work in Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras and Haiti.

We are proud to be part of such a progressive partnership, and reiterate our thanks to Cloud 9 and JamCruise for being TWP’s #1 offsetting partner to date.
