Vote now to help TWP win $25,000!

As you may know, Chase launched an innovative giving program for small and local nonprofits.  Through Chase Community Giving, the public can vote to determine which nonprofits will receive donations of more than $5 million from Chase’s philanthropy funds this spring.  Voting has started…take a minute of your day to cast your vote for Trees, Water & People (TWP) and help us win $25,000 towards our mission!

In the spring 2011 round of the Chase Community Giving program the top 100 eligible nonprofits with the most votes receive $25,000 during Round 1.  Currently, TWP is holding strong in the Top 100 and we need your help to stay there.

Voting is very easy and only takes one minute. To vote now:

  1. Visit the Chase Community Giving page on Facebook and “like” it.  Click here to do that!
  2. Visit Trees, Water & People’s page on the Chase Community Giving contest page and cast your vote.  Click here to VOTE now!

With $25,000 we could:

  • Plant 25,000 trees in a protected forest in El Salvador
  • Build over 1,000 fuel-efficient cookstoves in Haiti & keep 10  Haitian metal workers employed
  • Install 12 solar heaters on homes on Native American Reservations
Haitian metal workers are building the Zanmi Pye Bwa ("Friend of the Forest") fuel-efficient cookstove in Port-au-Prince.

It is more important than ever that we take advantage of the amazing opportunity this program presents to our organization.  Now that you have cast your vote, post the link to your Facebook profile…lets make it go viral!
